Bengals fans react to news Paycor Stadium will get new turf
The Cincinnati Bengals took some fans by surprise with the announcement of new field turf being installed at Paycor Stadium this offseason.
A new playing surface wasn’t totally unexpected — not with a $39 million renovation package for the stadium underway.
But what struck some as interesting is whether this new surface will lead to an increase or decrease in player injuries. As some pointed out, the partnership is with the same company that oversees the formerly controversial field at MetLife Stadium in New York.
Until some of those questions end up answered this offseason, we’ll keep seeing a wide range of reactions to the news:
