Bears fans were not happy with the pick of Mitchell Trubisky at No. 2

It didn’t take long for the first shock of the 2017 NFL draft, as the Chicago Bears sent three picks to the San Francisco 49ers to move up exactly one spot. And with that pick, the Bears selected … Mitchell Trubisky? What the heck?

It was a curious move, given that the Bears have already pledged $15 million to Mike Glennon and that Trubisky wasn’t projected at this level of talent. And the Bears faithful reacted accordingly:

After the draft pick, Trubisky pointed to Walter Payton as his favorite Bear; don’t worry about the fact that Trubisky was five years old when Payton died. He’s trying, folks.
