Back to the future? Jaguars tease throwback uniforms on social media

The Jacksonville Jaguars are going back in time this fall.

The team released a 42 second teaser video this morning, seemingly hinting to them bringing back their throwback uniforms for the upcoming season.

The Jaguars will be celebrating their 30th season in existence this year, a milestone occasion for one of the youngest franchises in the NFL.

The old school uniforms have long been requested to reappear by fans and the video sent social media into a frenzy. The post has garnered thousands of interactions already, with several users using the video to farm engagement.

It also sparked a dialogue around what jerseys people would want. Fans clamored for former players like Fred Taylor and current ones like Josh Allen and Trevor Lawrence.

There has not been an official announcement from the team just yet, but there’s a good chance the Jaguars will wear a throwback uniform, helmet, or logo, or all three, to commemorate their milestone season.
