Autullo, Frymire runners-up in Northern Lakes League for Ross

Clyde's CJ Fisher earned an 11-0 major decision over Woodmore's Brant Deal for a wrestling championship Saturday at 150 pounds in the Sandusky Bay Conference.

Lance Overmyer (157) took a 26-11 technical fall over Lakota's Grant Bomer in the finals as the Fliers were fourth. Clyde's Heath Norris (106) was pinned at 5:45 by Edison's Mason Hermes to finish runner-up.

Port Clinton's Joshua Cornell (120) earned a 16-2 major decision over Edison's Quentin Cox for a championship. Gavin Cornell (132) fell 4-1 to Lakota's Lane Thacker, and Dagan Meyers (215) was pinned at 1:36 in the finals as Port Clinton was sixth.

Konner Dauch (138) fell 5-2 to Norwalk's Austin Ware in the finals as Bellevue finished second.

Lakota's Cody Biddle (144) lost a 13-0 major decision to St. Mary Central Catholic's Ben James to finish runner-up. The Raiders finished fifth.

Woodmore's Jack Caldwell (175) fell 8-5 to Edison's Luke James in the finals. The Wildcats were seventh.

St. Joseph Central Catholic heavyweight Gabriel Ramirez was pinned at 41 seconds by Perkins' Eli Sanchez to finish second.

Clyde's Dawson Brimmer (126) and Michael Gessner (138) finished third.

Bellevue's Owen Sterritt (106), Brock Meacham (113), Jordan Reinhart (120) and Jeremiah Hash (157) were third.

Lakota's Braxton Quaintance (165) and Gabe Garlick (175) finished third.

Michael Seeger (190) was third for Woodmore.

Perkins finished first as a team.

Northern Lakes League

Aidan Autullo (113 pounds) was pinned at 3:53 by Perrysburg's Grey Burnett in the finals for Fremont Ross.

Jayce Frymire (138) was pinned at 1:42 by Perrysburg's Brody Bauman in the finals for the Little Giants. Bryce Estep (144) and Broderick Barth (165) were third.

Northern Buckeye Conference

Zavier Materni (157) beat Oak Harbor's Tait Dusseau 5-2 in the finals as Genoa earned a second straight league championship.

The Comets won nine of the last 12 conference crowns.

Genoa's Luke Clement (165) notched a takedown in the final 10 seconds for a 4-3 victory over the Rockets' Brady Losie. The Comets' Ethan Crawford (215) earned a pin with two seconds left in his match and Ethan Powell and Scotty Fuller also finished first.

Noah Tipton, Nate Tipton and Xavier Arriaga finished second for Genoa. Kevin Ludwig was third.

Bodee Miller (120) notched a pin, Brayden Myerholtz (138) took a 9-1 major decision and Ethan DeTray (144) earned a 5-0 shutout in the finals as Oak Harbor finished second by 1.5 points. Blake Nickel was champ at 190 for the Rockets.

Kairat Musaev (175) was pinned in the finals. Nate Hodge (126), Tate Tomor (132), Jacob McDonald (150) and Scott Smith (215) were third for Oak Harbor.
