Arizona Diamondbacks social media team had internet buzzing during bee delay vs LA Dodgers
Let's take a moment to recognize the work of the Arizona Diamondbacks' social media team before, during and after the team's bee delay against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday night.
They truly did some un-bee-lievable work amid some stinging circumstances after a bee colony invaded the netting behind home plate at Chase Field, keeping the world abuzz of the situation throughout the delay and during Arizona's comeback, one you had to see to bee-lieve.
Simply put, it did some bee-u-tiful work throughout the night, chronicling the bee incident with bee puns in its posts, reposts and replies on X.
Here's how the night went down on the Diamondbacks' X account:

Fun bee fact #1:
Almost 90% of wild plants and 75% of leading global crops depend on animal pollination. One out of every three mouthfuls of our food depends on pollinators such as bees. Crops that depend on pollination are five times more valuable than those that do not.— Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) May 1, 2024
Fun bee fact #2:
Honeybees have a dance move called the ‘waggle dance’. It’s not actually a dance move at all, rather a clever way of communicating between themselves to tell their nestmates where to go to find the best source of food.— Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) May 1, 2024
