Andy Dalton replaces injured Justin Fields, finds Darnell Mooney for Bears’ first TD
“Andy Dalton finds Darnell Mooney for a touchdown” wasn’t a sentence we were expecting to write during this game.
After Justin Fields exited the game with a rib injury early in the third quarter, Dalton entered in relief and began dealing. He found Jimmy Graham for 23 yards, then fired a screen pass to Mooney, who broke free from tacklers and sprinted to the endzone for a 60-yard score.
It was the first touchdown of the day for the Bears and it put them up 7-6 over the Ravens.

Information on Fields is still coming in, but this could be Dalton’s game to finish. He’s currently still in for the offense midway through the third quarter with the Bears still leading 7-6.
