Andrew Luck finally set to return to Colts practice, though he'll be limited
Chuck Pagano announced on Wednesday that Andrew Luck is returning to practice with the Indianapolis Colts, though it’s clear things will be taken very slowly.
Via a series of tweets from the Indy Star’s Stephen Holder, Luck will practice on Wednesday, but will be limited to individual drills and throws to receivers against air (no defenders), then will work with the training staff for the rest of the session.
He will not practice on Thursday, when he will only do rehab.
Luck will practice again on Friday, but the team will again be keeping a close eye on what he does.

Pagano said, “There’s a pitch count. There’s a number,” and that not only will there be a limit to how many throws Luck makes, but also which types of throws, to make sure he isn’t overextended or brought along too quickly.
There is no timeline for when Luck will return to game play. He underwent shoulder surgery in the offseason after playing in pain for nearly two years.
Second-year quarterback Jacoby Brissett, whom the Colts acquired in a trade with the New England Patriots on Sept. 1, has been starting.
