The MetroWest and Milford Area Fantastic Five high school athletes ended the week on a high note. They stuffed the stat sheet and posted career-best performances.
Without further ado, here's the Fantastic Five from Thursday, Feb. 8:
LUKE LEWIS/JORDAN SOUSA, Hudson boys ice hockey
They each had two assists in a 4-3 win over Lunenburg on Thursday. Brayden Resendes, Owen Nanartowich (assist), Devin Morton and Christian Stevens each found the net once for the Hawks (9-7) on Thursday. Hudson goalie Brandon Garzia saved 18 shots, and Logan Martin, Tyler Fortier.
JOE MARINO, Westborough boys basketball
The big man put up a big stat line with 18 points and 18 rebounds in a 61-48 victory against Shepherd Hill on Thursday. Nicholas Bellofatto added 15 points, and Alec Desrosiers contributed 14 for the Rangers (12-3. 9-2 Mid-Wach B).
JAMES McKINNEY, Nipmuc boys basketball
The junior posted a massive double-double with 34 points and 15 rebounds Thursday. The Warriors (10-5) fell 66-57 at Bay Path. Chase Kelly (two 3s) and Jacob Giardini added eight points each.

SASHA TRACEY, Franklin girls basketball
She scored 23 points in a 60-35 win over North Attleboro on Thursday to pull the Panthers into a three-way tie atop the Kelley-Rex Division. Franklin's Chloe Fales contributed 10 points, while Norah MacCallum added nine for Franklin (8-7).
SOPHIE WARD, Lincoln-Sudbury girls alpine skiing
The senior captain notched her fist career win Thursday, as the Warriors stayed unbeaten with a 45-41 victory over Concord-Carlisle. Virginia Weeks took third, Kara LaPointe was sixth, Sarah Danielson placed eighth and Maddie Liberman took 10th for L-S (8-0), as every Warrior set or tied their career best finish.

Boys basketball
WAYLAND 64, Innovation Charter 46: Junior guard Ido Geffen poured in 14 points and nine rebounds for the Warriors in a 64-46 win over Innovation Charter Academy on Thursday. Wayland (3-12) has won two of its last three games.
AMSA 67, Sizer 34: Travis Webb hit three 3s and scored 13 points for the Eagles (6-12) on Thursday. AMSA's Braden DeZutter added 10 points, while 11 Eagles collected at least one field goal.
BLACKSTONE VALLEY TECH 54, Sutton 47: Jon Powell had 15 points and six rebounds and Alex Burgos added 13 points and seven boards for the Beavers (10-6) on Thursday.
Boys alpine skiing
WINCHESTER 47, Lincoln-Sudbury 42: Nick Boden placed fifth, and Will Gable joined him in the top 10 for the Warriors (6-2) on Thursday.
