Alex Mack says he'll give Browns chance to match offers

Cleveland Browns Pro Bowl center is open to returning to Cleveland, telling the Cleveland Plain Dealer that he'll give the Browns the right of first refusal in free agency.

"Being in Cleveland is nice,'' Mack said. I have good friends on the team, I like the coaches, it's a nice place.''

Mack didn't say whether he wants to reach unrestricted free agency.

"This is where I'm going to be mum on things,'' Mack said. "Most of it is trying to not get distracted during the season.''

Should the Browns not be able to retain Mack, he's expected to be one of the top free agents.
