You get a 30-piece, and you get a 30-piece: Tuesday's Fantastic Five high school athletes

Something got into the water Tuesday night. There were 30-point hoops performances all over the MetroWest and Milford area. We saw a 5-by-5. Track stars burned up Northbridge High School at the Dual Valley Conference championships.

All in all a packed night that had our Fantastic Five bursting at the seems. Our picks from Tuesday, February 6:

BRYNN DI ANNI, Nipmuc girls indoor track & field

She cleared 4 feet, 6 inches to win the high jump title at the Dual Valley Conference Championships Tuesday at Norwood. The Warriors also won the 4x200-meter relay in 2 minutes, 0.36 seconds en route to a team title with 111 points.

JACKSON HUNT, Hopedale boys indoor track & field

He won two distance events at the Dual Valley Conference Championship on Tuesday at Northbridge. Hunt took first in the mile in 4 minutes, 48.1 seconds and the two-mile in 10:34.88. His teammate Ari Levine topped the shot put podium at 48 feet, 4.5 inches. Hopedale also won the 4x400 relay in 4:07.44. The Blue Raiders were fourth with 59 points.

AIDAN LUCIER, Nipmuc boys indoor track & field

He sprinted to victory in two events at the DVC championships Tuesday. Lucier won the 50-meter in 5.97 seconds and the 300 in 39.85. Nipmuc's Samuel Abut was also first in the 600 (1:31.98), while the Warriors placed third as a team with 72 points.

BELLA MIELE, Marlborough girls basketball

The sophomore scored 33 points, as the Panthers exacted revenge with a 72-68 win over Westborough on Tuesday. Liz Johnson (16 points) and Meghan Deneen (12 points) each made three 3-pointers for Marlborough (11-3, 7-3 Mid-Wach A). Kate Sams led the Rangers (10-5, 9-1) with 29 points. Rachel Carpenter splashed five 3s and scored 19 points, while Annabelle Semeter scored 14 for Westborough.

MEGAN SIMPSON, Holliston girls basketball

The recent 1,000-point club inductee dropped 30 points with eight rebounds in a 49-44 win over Westwood on Tuesday. Kaylee MacDonald added five points and seven steals for the Panthers (6-11, 5-9 TVL).

SHANNON WELBURN, Wellesley girls basketball

She poured in 30 points, as the Raiders took down Brookline 49-33 on Tuesday. Shea Welburn added 15 points for Wellesley (12-3), which has won four in a row.

JONO WINDLE, Dover-Sherborn boys basketball

He scored the game-winning basket with eight seconds remaining in a 47-46 victory over Medway on Tuesday. Windle had 11 points. Mason Melchionda led the Raiders (10-7) with 12 points. Caden Reisman paced Medway with 12 points. Jack Gould had 11 points for the Mustangs (10-8).

Boys basketball

MILLIS 54, Bellingham 47: Senior Eli Chansky led Millis (6-10, 4-10 TVL) with 13 points on Tuesday.

LINCOLN-SUDBURY 84, Weston 50: Ryan Dooley poured in 24 points, as the Warriors pulled away on Tuesday. Ryan Cope contributed 11 points, and Osmany Martinez scored eight for L-S (11-5).

ST. PAUL 72, Assabet 56: Aaron Bridgeon hit five 3s and scored 15 points for Assabet (3-12) on Tuesday. Assabet's Anthony Baum added 11 points.

NORWOOD 66, Ashland 53: Tyler Robinson went off for a career-high 30 points Tuesday for the Clockers (6-10, 1-7 TVL).

BLACKSTONE VALLEY TECH 74, Parker Charter 34: Jon Powell bolstered three Beavers in double figures with 14 points. Tyler Bell and Ryan Langkopf (three 3s) each scored 13 for BVT (9-6, 8-2 Colonial).

LEMONSTER 59, Algonquin 49: Patrick Biamou led the Titans (4-11, 1-6 Mid-Wach A) with 16 points Tuesday, while Brody Faessler scored 12 points with three 3s.

WESTBOROUGH 64, Marlborough 47: Nicholas Bellofatto notched another 20-point game, and Justin McCaferty scored 15 points for the Rangers (11-3, 8-2 Mid-Wach B) on Tuesday. Westborough's Simon Bleier added 11 points. Chris Krueger (12 points) and Ryan Dillon (10) reached double figures for the Panthers (2-11, 1-9).

CLINTON 58, Hudson 39: Jackson O'Brien continued his scalding stretch with 26 points, but the Hawks (8-8, 5-6 Mid-Wach C) fell on the road.

Girls basketball

LINCOLN-SUDBURY 67, Weston 37: Sarah Poland put up 17 points and seven rebounds for the Warriors (12-3, 8-0 Dual County League) on Tuesday. L-S' Evie Schwartz added 14 points, eight rebounds and six assists. Alice Wallerstein contributed eight points and eight rebounds, while Carly McKeown had seven points, four rebounds and three assists for the Warriors.

MILLIS 41, Bellingham 35: Riley Caufield pulled down 15 rebounds, as Millis (13-5, 9-5 TVL) won its eighth game in a row. Lindsey Grattan scored 12 points, while Hailey Bassett added 11. Maya Jackson juiced Bellingham (2-16, 1-13) with 16 points.

DOVER-SHERBORN 48, Medway 44: Elliana Scalabrine led the Raiders (12-4, 10-4 TVL) with 14 points. D-S' Drew Hussar hit 4-of-5 3s and added 13 points, while Erica Hills scored nine.

NEWTON NORTH 57, Natick 33: Aly Kastantin led the Redhawks (4-10, 3-8 BSC) with eight points, eight rebounds and two steals.

DOUGLAS 40, Assabet 27: Ava Palizzolo led Assabet (4-11) with 12 points Tuesday.

MILLBURY 42, Hopedale 29: Mackenzie Reynolds reached double figures for the Blue Raiders (9-7) with 10 points. Hopedale's Anna Fafard scored nine points.

LEOMINSTER 52, Algonquin 42: Sophia Hjerpe had 16 points for the Titans (6-9, 0-7 Mid-Wach A). Algonquin's Brooke Adams contributed 10 points.

HUDSON 46, Clinton 32: Audrey Lenox led the Hawks with 14 points, four rebounds and three steals Tuesday. Ten Hudson (10-6, 6-5 Mid-Wach C) players made a mark in the scorebook.

NEEDHAM 55, Framingham 53: Caroline Galvani scored 22 points for the Flyers (9-6) on Tuesday. Stephie Regan contributed 13 points, 10 rebounds, six blocks, six steals, five assists, and Allie Regan had 12 points and five rebounds.

Boys ice hockey

FRANKLIN 8, Taunton 2: Ben Paterson notched two goals and two assists for the Panthers on Tuesday. Anthony Lampasona contributed a goal and two assists for the Panthers (11-8). Franklin's Carter Balducci, Dylan McEvoy, Logan Marchand and Dan Daley each added a goal and an assist.

Savior in net: Caleb Greenberg never played goalie; the Holliston junior has played every minute this season

Gymnastics

BRAINTREE 128.35, Framingham 121.35: Maggie Spring won the bars for the Flyers with an 8.4 on Tuesday. Lauren DeMore took second on the balance beam (8.2).

Boys indoor track & field

EMAC CHAMPIONSHIPS: Tri-County's Mary McCrave won the 1,00-meter run in 2 minutes, 46 seconds and was third in the mile (4:46) on Saturday. Nate Howard tossed the shot put 43 feet, 4 inches for the title. Tri-County finished fifth with 41 points.

Girls indoor track and field

EMAC CHAMPIONSHIPS: Averie Denelle claimed two titles over the weekend. She won the high jump at 5 feet, 6 inches and 55-meter hurdles in 9.33 seconds. The Cougars were fifth as a team with 30 points.
