The second round of the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs are underway. Eight teams remain looking to hoist pro sports' most coveted championship trophy, and already four teams are off and running.

Each Eastern Conference series has played their first game at this point. The Western Conference has yet to get started though. Fortunately, Game 1 of the series between the Dallas Stars and Colorado Avalanche kicks off today. Also on the docket is Game 2 of the Carolina Hurricanes-New York Rangers series. The Rangers lead that series 1-0, but Carolina is still expected to win the series. Going down 2-0 could devastate their cup chances.
