No. 15 South Dakota State Jackrabbits vs. No. 2 Iowa State Cyclones predictions

ESPN: Iowa State have a 96% chance to win

According to ESPN's Matchup Predictor, the Iowa State Cyclones have a 96.7% chance of beating the South Dakota State Jackrabbits in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

BetMGM: Iowa State will win

Staff writes: "The winning team model predicts Iowa State will win this college basketball game with 93.9% confidence, based on game simulations, player injuries, key player performances and recent matchups."

Action Network: Jacks pull an upset

Shane McNichol writes: "This particular matchup might allow the Jackrabbits to hang around. They allow the second-highest rate of 3-point attempts in the country, though that’s not how Iowa State beats its opponents. The Cyclones ranked second-to-last in the Big 12 in percentage of points from beyond the arc. Narratively, Iowa State is receiving a lot of attention as a hot Final Four pick after it smoked Houston. Generally, those types of things boomerang. Even if not all the way to where the Jacks pull the upset, a close game, even for the first half, would not surprise me."
