Police have made an arrest in the burglary of Nebraska football coach Scott Frost’s home that saw $50,000 worth of memorabilia stolen.

Police said on July 30 that someone took 14 championship rings, five pairs of Air Jordans and a Nintendo Wii from Frost’s home. Frost later located all 14 championship rings.

Police arrest teenage girl in Scott Frost burglary

Lincoln Police announced on Facebook Friday that a 17-year-old had been arrested in connection with the robbery.

“A 17-year-old suspect was interviewed and one pair of shoes stolen from the home were recovered,” the Facebook post reads. “The 17-year-old was arrested for burglary and lodged at the Youth Attention Center. The investigation is still active and anyone with information is encouraged to call the Lincoln Police Department.”

The suspect was not named. The Lincoln Journal-Star reports that the suspect is a girl and that some of the shoes stolen were found listed for sale online.

Frost’s home burglarized before he moved in

Frost, a former Nebraska quarterback, is starting his first year as the Huskers’ head coach after leading UCF to an undefeated season last year.

Frost and his family were not yet living in their new Lincoln home when it was burglarized as it was undergoing renovations. Police say the burglars entered the house through an unlocked garage door.
