How all 13 of the LIV golfers performed during 2024 Masters first two rounds, who made cut

Last year was a great Masters tournament for LIV golf.

The tournament was won by future LIV member Jon Rahm while Brooks Koepka and Phil Mickelson, two of the PGA tour's most prominent defectors, tied for second.

So far this year, LIV golfers have struggled. Except for Bryson DeChambeau, the golfer who entered the second round atop the leaderboard.

Just three of the 13 LIV Tour members finished below par in the opening round, with Joaquinn Niemann and Cameron Smith finishing at 2-under and 1-under, respectively.

But wind is expected to be a factor on Friday, which could change the game for all on the course.

Here is how LIV golfers have fared through the first two rounds.

LIV Results, Who made the cut?

Bryson DeChambeau | 6-under (1-over 73 Friday), T1

Given the windy conditions, DeChambeau put together a solid round on Friday afternoon to stay near the top of the leaderboard. He notched four bogeys and three birdies and will tee off late on Saturday thanks to his efforts.

Cameron Smith | 1-under (Even par), T8

Smith battled the wind and finished with an even-par 72 on Friday. It was one of the best rounds on the course.

Patrick Reed | Even par (2-under 70 Friday), T15

The 2018 Masters champion had a solid 2-under par day in windy conditions Friday and enters the weekend at even par and T19 as his round concluded.

Tyrell Hatton | 2-over (2-over 74 Friday), T24

Hatton will be safely inside the cut when the day ends despite a 2-over par 74. After starting the day even par, he was on the same pace until bogeys at Nos. 14 and 15 set him back a couple shots.

Brooks Koepka | 2-over (1-over 73 Friday), T24

An adventurous scorecard on Friday was good enough to keep him inside the cutline at 2-over par. He had four birdies in the round but countered those with three bogeys and a double bogey.

Phil Mickelson | 4-over (3-over 75 on Friday), T35

Mickelson recorded four bogeys on the second 9 to fall out of contention on Friday. He will make the weekend by one stroke, as the cutline sits at 5-over.

Joaquin Niemann | 4-over (6-over 78 on Friday), T35

Niemann couldn't follow a 2-under opening round with another good round on Friday. He had four bogeys and a double bogey on the back nine (and just one birdie) and dropped like a rock through the field.

Jon Rahm | 5-over (4-over, 75 Friday), T44

The defending champion appeared to barely make the cut with a par on 18, but the cutline shifted to 6-under on a Hideki Matsuyama double bogey on the final hole. The wind clearly affected his play on Friday as he carded four bogeys and a double bogey. Back-to-back birdies at Nos. 15 and 16 might have saved his tournament.

Sergio Garcia | 7-over (7-over 79 Friday), Missed Cut

Garcia was just inside the cutline (5-over) at the 18th before a double bogey on the 18th. After starting even-par for the second round, he struggled on Friday and will miss the cut.

Bubba Watson | 10-over (8-over 80 Friday), Missed Cut

Disaster struck for Watson as he made the turn on Friday. Watson was 2-under, where he began the day, on the tenth before going double bogey, quadruple bogey, double bogey on Nos. 10, 11 and 12. After a birdie on 13, he had bogeys at 14 and 16 before a birdie to close his week at 18.

Charl Schwartzel | 11-over (9-over 81 Friday), Missed Cut

The 2011 champ didn't card a birdie on Friday while posting seven bogeys and a double bogey. He will miss the cut.

Dustin Johnson | 13-over (7-over 79 Friday), Missed Cut

Johnson was far from the form he displayed in 2020 when he claimed the green jacket with a record-low score of 20-under par. In fact, he was 33 shots worse in the 2024 edition of the tournament. He had eight bogeys and only one birdie on Friday as he was cut from the weekend. He'll finish at 87th.

Adrian Meronk | 14-over (7-over 79 on Friday), Missed Cut

Meronk will miss the cut after a poor showing in his second career Masters. He was last in the field as his round finished early Friday.
