100 Shore high school girls lacrosse Players to Watch in 2024

Here are some of the players we're watching in the Shore girls lacrosse season that starts April 1:

Abby Boyle - M - Rumson-Fair Haven - Sr.

The Ohio State commit has championship DNA and knows how to find the net with the ball in her hands. She's going into this season eight career goals shy of reaching 100.

Rachel James - M - Rumson-Fair Haven - Jr.

The Loyola bound player finished with 65 goals last season as a sophomore. She went into this season with 134 total career points (111 goals, 23 assists).

Daisen Iwan - M - Rumson-Fair Haven - Jr.

28 goals, 37 assists, 28 GB in 2023.

Mia Mikowski - A - Rumson-Fair Haven - Jr.

19 goals, 17 assists in '23.

Kendall Carcaterra - A - Rumson-Fair Haven - Jr.

15 goals, 11 assists.

Nora Tavares - G - Red Bank Regional - So.

The goalkeeper averaged 5.2 saves last season in the 21 games she played as a freshman. Expect her numbers to only improve as her high school career progresses.

Lily Savko - A - Red Bank Regional - Sr.

She had four goals in a game against Mount Olive, but showed that she has great chemistry with teammates as she had 34 assists as a junior.

Kali Saito - A - Manasquan - Sr.

The Temple commit is two points away from reaching 100 in her high school career. She'll also have go into this season with 71 total goals, potentially reaching 100 total career goals.

Bianca Chiarella - M - Manasquan - Sr.

A Rutgers commit who's highly effective as a scorer as she is on the defensive side. In her career, she's going into this season with 55 ground balls, 101 draw controls and 39 forced turnovers.

Talia Blum - A - Manasquan - Sr.

The senior is 14 goals away from hitting the 100-career mark. She will be a important piece for the Warriors.

Kiki Noe - G- Manasquan - Jr.

126 saves last year.

Belle Porazzo - M - Manasquan - Sr.

Jacksonville commit.

Julianna Farinacci - M - Manasquan - Sr.

Delaware commit.

Madeline Johnson - D - Manasquan - Sr..

Wesleyan commit.

Ellie O’Shea - D - Manasquan - Sr.

Stonehill commit.

Gabby O'Brien - M - Shore - Jr.

The BU commit is a special offensive player that will likely continue her dominance this spring. In her sophomore campaign she tallied 103 points (46 goals, 57 assists) and 38 forced turnovers.

Conley Smolokoff - M/D - Shore - Sr.

A Colgate commit that's a Swiss-Army knife for Shore as she finished last season with 48 goals, 13 assists, 41 ground balls, 85 ball controls, and 33 forced turnovers.

Virginia Avery - G - Trinity Hall - Jr.

With 3.5 saves averaged last season as a sophomore, Avery and most of her team is back to amplify their numbers. Expect Avery to be one of the best goalkeepers in the conference by the end of her high school career.

Sarah Sullivan - A/M - Trinity Hall - Sr.

A Fairfield commit who's had 124 ground balls in her career including 50 goals and 91 assists going into her senior year. She also finished last year with 103 draw controls for the Monarchs.

Mary Katherine O'Connor - M - Trinity Hall - Jr.

23 goals, 24 assists in 2023.

Lily Wood - M - Trinity Hall - Jr.

2023: 16 g 16 a, 48 GB, 62 DC.

Sands Webber - M - Trinity Hall - So.

14 goals, 9 assists, 24 GB over freshman year.

Skylar O'Keefe - A - Middletown South - Sr.

Going into her senior year, O'Keefe has tallied up 80 goals, 47 assists, and 55 ground balls for the Eagles. Last year she had 38 goals and 27 assists in her junior season.

Anna Weise - G - Middletown South - Jr.

Weise did the most with her first year with the starting job as she finished with 113 total saves in 19 games.

Avery Smith - M - Southern - Jr.

Smith has the quickness and stick skills to move past defenders and limit turnovers. Defensively, she causes turnovers and stays in front of opposing players.

Delaney Falk - M - Southern - Jr.

One of the junior midfielder duo with her teammate Smith, Falk is the top scorer on the Rams roster. She knows how to get the ball past the goalkeeper and find ways to put points on the board. Back in October, she committed to play at the US Naval Academy in Maryland.

Liliana Davis - D - Southern - Sr.

She's six ground balls from reaching 100 in her career.

Riley Coltenback - M - Central - Sr.

She controls the draw with 79 total in her career. She went into this season with 49 goals and 24 total assists.

Christina Azimov - Goalkeeper - Ocean - Jr.

Had 42 saves last year for the Spartans in 16 games she played. Expect those numbers to rise this season.

Maddie Kirchner - Attack - Ocean - So.

As a freshman, Kirchner took the Shore on notice about her talents with 66 goals and 17 assists last year. She scored a season-high seven goals against St. Rose.

Emalie Menegus - Goalkeeper - Barnegat - Sr.

Last year she finished with 153 saves through 17 games played. Her sophomore year she made 125 saves through 15 games.

Alyson Sojak - Attack - Barnegat - Sr.

A Rider University commit that is on pace to hit 200 career goals this season with 194 currently. She also has 149 ground balls and 155 draw controls.

Kasey Rasker - M, A - Manalapan - Sr.

Was a top scorer for Manalapan that scored 41 goals last season. She also had 24 ground balls and 13 draw controls last season.

Madison Alcantara - M - Manlapan - So.

As a freshman she was one of the top scorers on the team with 34 goals last year. She also had eight ground balls and 17 draw controls.

Sabrina Redding - A, M - Toms River North - Sr.

The Southern New Hampshire University commit entered this season with 119 total goals, 71 assists, and 28 draw controls.

Madi Eollo - M, A - Toms River North - Sr.

The Rider University commit already has over 100 points in her career with 77 goals and 34 assists. She also tallied 103 ground balls and 105 draw controls.

Matilda Ventresca - M - Point Pleasant Beach - Sr.

A flat out scorer with 175 total goals going into her senior campaign. Last year she had 111 ground balls and 98 draw controls.

Leila Lindquist - M, A - Point Pleasant Beach - Sr.

On pace to hit her 100th career goal, she comes into this year with 76 goals and 21 assists in her career. She's also picked up 101 ground balls in her junior year.

Makenna Graham - A - Red Bank Catholic - Sr.

Last year Graham finished with 91 goals and 38 assists to go along with 62 draw controls. This year, expect her to easily hit 200 career goals as she's only 12 away.

Taylor Carlson - G - Red Bank Catholic - Sr.

After finishing with 135 saves at net as a junior, Carlson will play a big role in wether or not RBC can hang with the top teams at the Shore.

Malia D'Alterio - M - Red Bank Catholic - Jr.

Last season she finished with 42 goals, 16 assists, 69 ground balls, 81 draw controls and 27 forced turnovers for the Caseys. She's 24 points away from reaching the 100 point mark in her career.

Sophia Devaney - M - Jackson Memorial - Sr.

New Haven commit that's going into this season with 237 career goals (309 career points) after putting up 120 her junior season. She's dominate on the draw control with 91 in her entire career and can takeover a game single.

Maeve Meehan – G – Lacey – Sr.

East Carolina University commit.

Zoey Smith – M – Lacey – Jr.

Had a 100-goal season as a sophomore.

Regan Ottinger – G  - Wall – Sr.

Also sees time at defender.

Aileen Carr – M – Wall – Sr.

Also an attacker, Carr is 7 goals from 50 for her career.

Hannah Leete – M, A – Wall – So.

14 goals, 10 forced turnovers in her varsity debut.

Clare Asche   - M       - Brick Township – Sr.

19 goals, 12 assists

Abigail Anfuso  - A - Brick Township – Sr.

36 goals 7 assists
