Eating clean and healthy is a goal for many people, and going to a farmers market is a fun way to shop for organic goods. At the Palm Desert Famers Market, you can find fresh produce from Coachella Valley Certified Farmers. The market is open every Sunday, rain or shine, and you can find it next to the Palm Desert Area Chamber of Commerce.

When: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Sunday

Artist reception: KEF!

Sunday is your last chance to see Simon Rohlen, a street artist who goes by KEF! He comes from Germany and is making appearances at the CODA Gallery for the exhibit titled "BURNER: A Group Exhibition of International Street Artists." His work involves abstract lines that come together in a euphoric balance. The exhibit itself will go on through Friday, March 24 where you can see pieces from other street artists including Banksy.

When: 1-4 p.m. Sunday, March 5

La Quinta Art Celebration

This five-day festival ends on Sunday and features about 200 artists. It all takes place outdoors where attendees are able to meet the artists and learn more about their work. And, of course, you can't have a festival without food and drinks, so there will be a bistro and various bar options for people to indulge in.

Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band

Tickets are still available to see Jimmy Buffet, who will be performing at the brand-new Acrisure Arena as part of the Jimmy Buffett’s Life on the Flip Side Second Wind Tour. Known for his easy-going music and hit song, "Margaritaville," this will be a concert you don't want to miss.

Adult Hip Hop-Dance Class

It is never too late to learn something new, so why not learn to dance? Nickerson-Rossi Dance offers an adult hip-hop dance class every Tuesday for all skill levels. Students will learn a new routine each class, and every session is taught by Ben Lopez, who has over 20 years of experience in different genres of dance.

When: 6-7 p.m. every Tuesday

The Swingin' 60s Show

This show is all about celebrating the groovy era of the 1960s, from the fashion to the music. There will be comedy, audience participation and live music. Artists will pay tribute to James Brown, Simon & Garfunkel, Dusty Springfield and other notable musicians of the time.

When: 1:30-3 p.m. Tuesday, March 7

Where: Palm Springs Cultural Center, 2300 E. Baristo Road, Palm Springs

Taste of Indio

If you like checking out new restaurants, this event will allow you to sample a variety of food. The 7th annual Taste of Indio will be held at the Coachella Valley History Museum where attendees will be able taste offerings from a slew of restaurants that include Pueblo Viejo Grill, Heirloom Craft Kitchen and One Stop Taco Shop.

When: 4-7 p.m. Thursday, March 9

Daniel Tosh

Limited tickets are still available to see Daniel Tosh live at Agua Caliente Casino. Tosh is a stand-up comedian, writer and former host of the television show "Tosh.0" on Comedy Central, which highlighted viral video clips from the internet.

Water Lantern Festival

Enjoy a special moment with friends or family and plenty of strangers as you release a personalized lantern across the water. The event offers attendees a moment to relax and reflect as they gaze upon lantern-lit water. Tickets come with an LED candle, floating lantern kit and a marker to decorate said lantern. There will also be music to enjoy and food trucks available.

'Dancing with the Stars Live'

See the reality television series "Dancing with the Stars" in a new way with this live production. Professional dancers from the show will perform a variety of routines live on stage. Performers include Gabby Windey and Daniel Durant, who are former contestants.
