Emanuel Steward (July 7, 1944-Oct. 25, 2012) --
If not for Emanuel Steward, Lennox Lewis might not ever have become one of the greatest heavyweight champions of all time. The same can be said of Wladimir Klitschko. Or Thomas Hearns. Over the course of four decades, Steward earned a spot as one of boxing's best trainers. A Hall of Fame inductee, he died at a Chicago hospital after a short illness.
