Warriors sign C Kuzmic

The Golden State Warriors announced Friday that they signed 2012 second round draft pick, center Ognjen Kuzmic, to a contract.

Golden State also added free agent forward Joe Alexander to the training camp roster.

Kuzmic, 23, was taken No. 52 overall in the 2012 draft. He played in Spain with FIATC Joventut last season and averaged 6.9 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. Kuzmic, a 7-footer from Bosnia and Herzegovina, has played professionally in Europe for six seasons in Spain, Bosnia and Finland.

Alexander, 26, was a first-round draft pick of the Milwaukee Bucks in 2008. In 67 NBA games with Milwaukee, the Chicago Bulls and New Orleans Hornets, Alexander averaged 4.2 points and 1.8 rebounds over three seasons. He played two seasons in the NBA D-League. He most recently played in Russia with Krasnie Krilya in 2011-12, where he averaged 8.7 points and 3.8 rebounds in six Russian League games and 8.4 points and 4.0 rebounds in nine VTB United League contests.
