Warriors 116, Thunder 115

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Small forward Andre Iguodala beat the buzzer with a 20-foot fadeaway from the right corner as the Golden State Warriors survived an Oklahoma City rally to defeat the Thunder 116-115 in a nationally televised game Thursday night.

After point guard Russell Westbrook drilled a 29-foot 3-pointer with 2.3 seconds remaining to give the Thunder their only lead of the fourth quarter, Iguodala took an inbounds pass from guard Klay Thompson and immediately rose over Thunder guard Thabo Sefolosha, a defensive specialist, for the game-winner.

The victory was the fourth in a row at home for the Warriors (6-3), and it came after they scored the first five points of the fourth quarter to build a 100-86 lead.

The Thunder, playing their second game in two nights, gradually cut into the deficit, eventually using a 9-2 run to grab their brief lead on Westbrook's dramatic shot.

Thompson, hitting six of the Warriors' 14 3-pointers, led Golden State with 27 points. Guard Stephen Curry had 22 points to go with nine assists, and David Lee contributed 20 points.

Iguodala finished with 14 points and nine assists. Forward Harrison Barnes, who contributed all three baskets to a 9-0 Warriors run late in the third quarter that had helped them pull away for the first time, had 16 points.

Westbrook paced the Thunder (5-3) with 31 points. He also had nine rebounds as Oklahoma City dominated the boards, outrebounding Golden State 48-31.

Forward Serge Ibaka, who had a three-point play during the Thunder's late flurry, backed Westbrook with 27 points and 13 rebounds. Forward Kevin Durant managed 20 points despite 5-for-13 shooting. He also chipped in with eight assists and seven rebounds.

Backup guard Reggie Jackson, another key contributor for the Thunder down the stretch, added 12 points.

Oklahoma City committed 19 turnovers in the game, leading to 29 Warriors points. Golden State had only seven turnovers.

Neither team led by more than seven points in a tight first half that featured 13 lead changes and eight ties.
