In the end, Vanderbilt fans didn't get to celebrate a shock win over South Carolina, but given how little they'd had to celebrate at all during the start to the Derek Mason era -- toothless losses to Temple and Ole Miss, a scrape past UMass -- there couldn't have been too many complaints.
The biggest kick for Commodore fans? Watching sophomore Darrius Sims return not one but two Gamecock kickoffs to the house, one to start the game and another in the second half. Via Vanderbilt football's YouTube channel, watch them here:
