UFC 168 Fight Card Continues to Grow with Addition of Jim Miller vs. Fabricio Camoes
The UFC 168 fight card continues to fill up with Wednesday’s addition of a lightweight bout pitting Jim Miller vs. Fabricio Camoes.
UFC officials announced the bout.
UFC 168 is already top heavy. A rematch between UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman and challenger Anderson Silva headlines the card, while UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey puts her belt on the line in a rematch with fellow Ultimate Fighter coach Miesha Tate.t
Miller (22-4, 1 no contest) was once on the cusp of a UFC title shot, but has been on a roller coaster ride of results over the past couple of years.
Alternating between wins and losses, Miller has unfortunately suffered defeat in the bouts that would have launched him into a championship fight. He enters this bout coming off of a no-contest result after his loss to Pat Healy was changed when Healy tested positive for marijuana following the fight.
Camoes (14-7-1) is in the midst of his second run in the UFC. After going 0-1-1 on his first attempt at fighting in the Octagon, the Brazilian fighter went out and scored a couple of victories, returned, and has since gone 1-1.
After defeating Tommy Hayden in his return trip to the UFC, Camoes enters the bout with Miller coming off of a unanimous decision loss to Melvin Guillard.
