Tulowitzki to sit out Monday's game

Colorado Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki is scheduled to sit out Monday's game against the Dodgers after suffering a left shoulder strain on Sunday.

Tulowitzski sustained the injury while sliding home.

The injury appears to be minor, and the Denver Post reports Tulowitzki is expected to be back in the lineup Tuesday or Wednesday.

Tulowitzki is hitting .308 with six home runs.

He was limited to 47 games last season because of a groin injury.
