Syracuse loses hard-luck Flemming for season

Syracuse wide receiver Adrian Flemming has struggled throughout his career with injuries, and this season is no different.

On Friday, Syracuse announced that Flemming would miss the rest of the season with a lower-body injury, the Post-Standard reported. The school did not go into more details about the injury, only to say Flemming would require surgery.

Flemming, a senior with a redshirt season still available, made the first two catches of his Orange career in last week's 23-17 loss to Penn State.

"It was amazing," he told the Post-Standard earlier this week. "I've been waiting on that for my whole career. To finally get it and help the team, it felt great."
