Steelers Squeeze Past Titans, 27-24
Le'Veon Bell had a big night on the ground, leading the way to a tight win for the Steelers over the Titans, 27-24, in Nashville.
Ben Roethlisberger went 21 for 32 for the game with 207 yards passing, one touchdown and one pick. In comparison, Zach Mettenberger went 15 of 24 with 263 yards passing, two touchdowns and one pick for the Titans.
Bell was a standout player for the Steelers, rushing for 204 yards on 33 attempts with a touchdown in addition to two receptions for 18 yards. Antonio Brown was a highlight, pulling in nine balls for 91 yards with a touchdown.
The Pittsburgh defense had a decent day, highlighted by allowing 49 yards rushing and 263 passing.
Titans wide receiver Nate Washington had a productive game with 80 receiving yards and one touchdown. Tight end Chase Coffman had a good game as well with 32 receiving yards and one touchdown.
The Steelers host the Saints (4-6) next week while the Titans head to Philadelphia to face the Eagles (7-3).
