We’ve had college football players impress us with their ability to solve a Rubik’s Cube with extreme precision in the past, but never quite like this.

During what looks like production meetings with the crew from CBS Sports Network ahead of Saturday’s game at Army, Owls offensive lineman Calvin Anderson solved the Rubik’s Cube with his hands behind his back. Yes, really.

Former NFL kicker Jay Feely, now working for CBSSN, captured Anderson’s talent.

How crazy is that?

This is new to us, but apparently not to his teammates. Rice put out a video last fall where Anderson’s teammates tested his Rubik’s skills. Like they were this week, they were on point then as well.

Anderson, a redshirt sophomore, emerged as a starter at left tackle for the Owls in 2015, starting all 12 games. The Owls got off to a rough start in their opener — a 46-14 loss at Western Kentucky — but will look to earn their first win of the year Saturday at West Point.
