Report: Vikings ink Matt Cassel
Veteran quarterback Matt Cassel is staying with the Minnesota Vikings.
He has agreed to a two-year contract, according to NFL Network.
Cassel voided the last year of his deal, but opted to stay with the Vikings rather than pursue free agency.
He was originally due $3.7 million for 2014.
This contract is expected to be higher than Chad Henne's Jacksonville Jaguars two-year deal that paid him roughly $15 million if he triggers all his incentives.
