Report: Steelers RB Bell to return Sunday

The winless Pittsburgh Steelers need help at running back, and apparently they are getting some.

Steelers rookie running back Le'Veon Bell is expected to play in Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings in London, according to Fox Sports' Jay Glazer.

Bell has been sidelined since suffering a foot sprain during a Steelers' preseason game last month. He was not expected to be ready to return this soon, but Bell has recovered faster than anticipated, according to the report.

Bell was a second-round pick in the NFL Draft, and he appeared to have won the starting job out of training camp before getting injured on Aug. 19.

If he plays as expected, Bell is likely to become the Steelers' primary ball-carrier.

Jonathan Dwyer was the Steelers' leading rusher on Sunday, gaining 39 yards in the loss to Chicago.
