Redskins re-sign linebacker Rob Jackson

The Washington Redskins have re-signed outside linebacker Rob Jackson.

Jackson played in a dozen games last season.

He recorded 19 tackles and one interception.

In 2012, he had 37 tackles, two forced fumbels and four interceptions.

Jackson played in 12 games for the Redskins last season, his sixth with the team, when he made 19 tackles and had one interception as the primary backup to Brian Orakpo. That was a year after he replaced an injured Orakpo as the starting right outside linebacker, and he had 37 tackles, forced two fumbles and intercepted four passes in 2012.

Jackson visited the Oakland Raiders during free agency.
