Ovechkin is Great!

They came out strong against Tampa Bay

Alex Ovechkin has quieted all his doubters with an amazing stretch as he has 15 goals and 21 points in his last 12 games including seven goals and 10 power play points in the same span.

Everyone threw Ovechkin under the bus when he got off to a slow start with two goals and eight points in his first three games but he now has 43 points including a league-tying 25 goals, in only 39 games. He has 14 power play goals to lead the NHL and his 21 points with the man-advantage ties him with P.K. Subban for the NHL lead.
