NFL roundup: Kolb wants Super Bowl with Bills

NFL teams continue to sign players, hoping to add the right pieces, and quarterback Kevin Kolb apparently believes the Buffalo Bills have added the missing ingredient by signing him.

Although the Bills have missed the postseason 13 consecutive years, Kolb said during a press conference to officially announce his signing on Monday, "I'm here to win the Super Bowl. Period."

The two sides agreed to the deal on Saturday. It is a two-year contract worth up to $13 million, according to multiple reports.

Kolb's main competition for the starting job is Tavaris Jackson. Kolb's record as a starter is 9-12.

--- Members of the Unitas family are feuding over the decision to cast Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco as Johnny Unitas in part of a movie about the legendary Colts quarterback.

The movie, "Unitas We Stand," is being co-produced by Joe Unitas, one of the late quarterback's sons. However, his oldest son, John Unitas Jr., and grandson, J.C. Unitas, criticized the casting of Flacco.

John Unitas Jr. told USA Today on Sunday that Flacco is a "goofball" and is considering legal action if Joe Unitas profits from their father's name.

---Quarterback Dan Orlovsky has re-signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers less than a week after the team released him, according to the Tampa Tribune.

The eight-year veteran signed a two-year, $2.5 million contract last offseason, and the team didn't announce a reason for his release last week.

---Defensive lineman Tommy Kelly agreed to a two-year contract with the New England Patriots, NFL.com reported. Kelly, 32, spent the previous five seasons with the Oakland Raiders.

---The New Orleans Saints announced that they agreed to contract terms with veteran free agent safety Jim Leonhard.

Leonhard, 30, played for the Denver Broncos last year and spent the three previous seasons with the New York Jets.

Ball has rushed for 801 yards on 192 career carries for a 4.2-yard average, including 158 yards on 42 carries last season.

---Quarterback Tim Tebow is approaching the 2013 season as if he'll be a member of the New York Jets. Tebow plans to attend voluntary offseason workouts scheduled to start next Monday (April 15) according to multiple reports.

Tebow, acquired from the Denver Broncos last year, is one of five quarterbacks on the roster but is reportedly on the trading block.

---JaMarcus Russell's comeback attempt was supposed to include a pro day on Wednesday so he could show a group of NFL teams what he could do.

However, multiple media outlets reported that Russell's pro day has been canceled.

Test Football Academy, which has been organizing Russell's attempt to get back into the NFL, told NFL.com that Russell will meet with interested teams individually rather than hold a pro day.

---Running back Felix Jones worked out for the Cincinnati Bengals, according to Bryan Broaddus of DallasCowboys.com. A first-round pick by the Cowboys five years ago, Jones has been plagued by injuries and would be in the mix as a backup to BenJarvus Green-Ellis should he sign with the Bengals.

---Former Oakland Raiders linebacker Rolando McClain cleared waivers and officially became a free agent.

He started nine games in 2012, recording just one sack, and never lived up to expectations.
