Spurs re-signing Danny Green to $12M deal

The San Antonio Spurs have agreed to re-sign guard Danny Green to a three-year, $12 million contract, a league source told Yahoo! Sports.

The contract is fully guaranteed, the source said.

Green averaged 9.1 points and 3.5 rebounds while starting 38 of 66 games for the Spurs last season. The former second-round pick by the Cleveland Cavaliers overcame being waived by Cleveland and San Antonio his first two seasons.

Green picked up a hefty raise on his new deal after making $854,389 last season. Free agents can sign contracts starting on Wednesday.
