Kevin Durant wasn't thrilled with Antonio Brown's TDs at Washington game

Here’s the thing about being Kevin Durant, one of the greatest basketball players on the planet: there’s always somebody out there waiting to one-up you. Durant and his former team, the Oklahoma City Thunder, almost knocked off the world champion Warriors, and then had to watch as LeBron James did it. Then Durant won an Olympic gold medal, and just before being honored by his hometown, he had to sit and watch as Pittsburgh’s Antonio Brown claimed D.C. as his own more effectively than Trump or Clinton ever could.

You can see Durant on the left side of that photo above, looking ruefully as Brown scored the first of his two touchdowns on the night. This wasn’t Brown’s twerk-worthy touchdown; that probably sent Durant into a blind rage. At the halftime ceremony honoring Durant’s Rio gold, the Warriors star still looked shellshocked.

Durant’s a longtime Washington fan, so much so that some delusional fans once apparently believed he would sign with the local Wizards franchise when he was a free agent. Not so; as you may have heard, he decided on an if-you-can’t-beat-’em-join-’em approach. After Monday night, he might’ve dumped his burgundy-and-gold jersey for a black-and-gold Steeler one, too, but we can’t verify that.
