Outfielder Reed Johnson will be back with the Atlanta Braves next season after reaching agreement on a one-year, $1.75 million contract. The deal includes a $1.6 million club option for 2014. Johnson, 35, came to the Braves on July 30 from the Chicago Cubs. He hit .290 with three home runs and 20 RBI for the two teams and batted .419 as a pinch hitter. The well-traveled veteran has a career .284 batting average with Toronto, the Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta.
