Giants sign linebacker Mark Herzlich
The New York Giants have signed linebacker Mark Herzlich to a new contract, the team announced.
Herzlich was scheduled to become a restricted free agent.
Herzlich has started six games, playing in 43 games.
He has 57 tackles and 33 special-teams tackles.
Herzlich played in every game last season, starting twice.
He had a career-high 32 tackles and led the team with 14 special-teams tackles.
Herzlich is an undrafted rookie free agent from Boston College.
