Ever seen two opponents shake hands after a touchdown? It happened Sunday

If you thought sportsmanship was dead, then Kenny Stills and Tony Jefferson brought it back on Sunday.

Stills, the Miami Dolphins receiver, caught a touchdown pass in the first quarter. There was no emphatic spike or dance. He immediately found Jefferson, the Arizona Cardinals safety, and offered him a handshake. And Jefferson shook his hand and patted him on the other arm.

Didn’t expect that, did you?

It’s not too surprising really, because the two have a long history. They were teammates at the University of Oklahoma. They also grew up less than an hour from each other in Southern California.

So it was a pretty cool moment among friends and competitors (let’s assume it wasn’t just high level trolling by Stills and Jefferson was too surprised to refuse it).

That’s something you probably won’t see again after an NFL touchdown for a long, long time.
