Bears Fall to Lions, 20-14
The Bears dropped one to the Lions, 20-14, at home.
Jimmy Clausen found the end zone two times on 23 of 39 passing for 181 yards and one pick. For the Lions, Matthew Stafford wound up 22 for 39 with 243 yards passing, no touchdowns and two picks.
Matt Forte was a standout player for the Bears, rushing for 55 yards on 19 attempts in addition to six receptions for 40 yards and a score. Alshon Jeffery was a top performer, snagging six balls for 72 yards with a touchdown.
The Chicago defense stood its ground in the loss, giving up 138 yards rushing and 243 passing. They harassed Stafford with four sacks.
Lions running back Reggie Bush could not be contained, putting up 54 yards rushing, 44 receiving and one touchdown. Running back Joique Bell also had a good game with 74 rushing yards, 13 receiving and one touchdown.
Next week, the Bears head to to face the Vikings (6-8) while the Lions go to Green Bay to play the Packers (10-4).
