Auburn lands top JC player Williams

Gulf Coast Community College wide receiver D'haquille Williams committed to Auburn on Sunday.

Williams, a five-star recruit and the No. 1 ranked junior college player in the country by 247Sports.com, chose Auburn over LSU and several other schools. He officially visited Auburn on Saturday.

Williams had 67 catches for 1,295 yards with 17 touchdowns in 11 games last year for Gulf Coast CC, which is in Perkinston, Miss.

Auburn has 14 commits so far for its 2014 class.
