While shoe brands scramble to sign Andrew Wiggins, the possible no. 1 overall pick in the upcoming NBA Draft, adidas has quietly locked up another surefire top 10 pick, Australian prospect Danté Exum. Deal terms were not disclosed.

“I’m really excited to join the adidas family,” Exum said in a press release. “I’ve had the opportunity to play in adidas Nations in the past, and I’ve always liked their shoes and gear. I look forward to what’s to come for me and adidas.”

Exum, a 6-6 guard with a 6-9 wingspan who can handle the ball, says he wants to model his game after fellow adidas athlete Derrick Rose. Sports Illustrated predicts he'll be selected fourth overall by the Utah Jazz.
