Nelson leaves with record
Don Nelson is expected to officially part ways with the Golden State Warriors on Monday. Nelson has coached 31 seasons, from 1976 to 2010 for four different teams (Milwaukee Bucks, Golden State, New York Knicks and Dallas Mavericks). He retires with the NBA’s most career regular-season coaching victories (1,335) after breaking Lenny Wilkens’ record on April 7.
