Ball Don't Lie - NBA

The Rockets sure are having a lot of fun in Houston these days. But I guess that's expected when you own the third-best winning streak in NBA history and keep crushing teams by double digits.

While it's impossible to try and pick a favorite from the bunch -- honestly, that was incredible -- I'd probably combine Shane Battier's Yoda-voice with Aaron Brooks' fingers and Steve Novak's passion if I had to build my ideal Deke impersonation.

Any team can be defeated regardless of the record it holds. Some analysts seem to let that notion dissipate when they are sizing up the talent on the various teams. These analysts applaud their favorite players and teams and when their least favorite teams beat their favorites, they find excuses or fail to respond--become dismissive. Oh well, so goes the media.

Just another west team that has to beat up or get beat up by the other 7 very good west teams. Only 1 will come out of the west! GO CAVS!

Go CAVS? Are you serious, we have a Lebron James rider in here!! Orlando has that team covered in the East not to mention so does Boston! If Cleveland is so good they should have a record close to the Celtics! The East is weak, just look at their winning percentage. Boston really doesn't even count but you all can claim them as the best team in the East, they are basically a bunch of guys from the west that knew by moving over to the East and all on one team they can destroy the East. If the Celtics were in the West they would not pose a good record like they have now. Not to mention the Cavs. Its a team sport not a one man show! Point proven!! Thats all I have to say! Only 1 will come out the East too and for sure not the CAVS. Sorry to bust your bubble but the truth hurts.

All teams should fear Mutombo's FINGER!! He's 41 years old (which is up for debate) and got 5 blocks in about 20 minutes. Sure it was against the Nets, but did you see his dunk? The old man still has a little left in the tank. If not him, then it would have been Landry (when he gets better). The new-look Rockets, PASSING, SWATTING, & DUNKING on folks. It's alright, y'all can hop on the bandwagon. CLUTCH '08

Mutombo what is he like 50, he's the best 50 year old basketball player in the planet, he can still block shots, score a little, right now he is the anchor of that defense, love him or hate him, with that damm finger, the guy is still a defensive force!!!
