Ball Don't Lie - NBA

The Blogger Formerly Known As Miss Gossip has new interview clips with Pistons forward Rasheed Wallace, and as expected, this video is just as good as the last, if not more.

Sheed, playing the "nickname game" with teammates, dubs Tayshaun Prince "Paper Thin", Kwame Brown "Coffee With No Cream" and Ronald Stuckey "Young 50" because, well, he looks just like 50 Cent. (He does.)

Once again, a big BDL head nod to Alana G for the video.

The Pistons are one step up from a Rap talkin, Street gang with no intelligence. It doesn't surprise me that this would actually be a subject to talk about. God do I miss Michael and Larry and the class ball players of the past.

The Pistons are one step away from a Rap talkin, street gang with no intelligence??? That's what they've ALWAYS been. Welcome to America.

Rap talkin?!? Street gang with no intelligence?!?! That sounds racist. Would I rather have comical NBA players like Rasheed Wallace at worst who might smoke weed. Or NBA player like Michael Jordan who was pretty much forced to retire because he had a gambling problem only Pete Rose would envy. Geee...I wonder??

someone should tell him that Lindsey Hunter did not "retire" he just couldn't find a job. Luckily he now plays for the Bulls.

HBkid- Easy on the not so subtle racism pal. In fact, you don't sound much like a kid at all. You sound like a bitter middle aged white man scared that the world around him is changing. The Pistons have exemplified team basketball, great defense and toughness for as long as I can remember, and I say this as a die hard Blazer fan. In fact, they are probably one of the worst teams you could possibly compare to a "rap talkin street gang"... besides Utah. Anyway, I think I'm gonna throw some rap talk on my headphones and maybe dial up ESPN Classic so I can watch those "class" ballplayers of yore that you get so nostalgic for... dick.

Cleveland has a nickname for the "Sheed"
We just call him "3 year old". Whenever he loses, he throws a temper tantrum and gets thrown out of the game. Two years ago the local Cleveland sportstalk guys had a poll when "3 year old" would get thrown out of game six after we put the game away. Sure enough he managed to get kicked out in the 4th quarter after Booby torched them for 31 points!!!

Sheed's come a long way since Portland where his standard response to every question from a reporter was, "Good game. Both teams played hard." Glad he's found a great home in Detroit.

Why would you watch this video if you don't like Rasheed? Have got to appreciate his humor! Once he plays for your team you will love him too.

If you interviewed him about players on other teams, would he say they all have "no heart" or "not a very mad heart"?

I really enjoyed watching this interview, Rasheed seems like he has a good sense of humour. Maybe a spot in a broadcast seat for him later on? Definitely more eloquent than Barkley.
