Effort. That's all a coach asks. Even if you're not the most talented team in the NBA. Even if you're well on your way toward your 59th loss in 76 games. Even if you're the Minnesota Timberwolves, still rebuilding.

And if you give up a driving lay-up to LeBron James(notes) while fouling him and sending the former MVP to the free throw line, please remember that James has just one foul shot due to him, not two.

And don't let this happen:
