Mets bench player exceeding expectations: 'He's always ready'

To be a contributor for the Mets, you don't have to be an everyday player. The latest example of this is Tyrone Taylor. In the Mets' 9-1 win over the Pirates at Citi Field on Wednesday, Taylor, who went 3-for-4 in the game, delivered the biggest hit of the game. With New York winning 2-1 in the bottom of the sixth inning, the 6-foot-1 right fielder broke the game open with a two-out, two-run single that made the score 4-1.
