Final game in White Sox-Twins series postponed due to snow

The Minnesota Twins and Chicago White Sox saw their entire series scuttled as a snowstorm ravaging the Midwest caused Sunday's game to be postponed.

The make-up date will be announced at a later time.

Friday and Saturday's game between the two teams were also postponed due to the storm.

This is the fourth home game the Twins have had to postpone in eight days, as last Sunday's matchup against the Seattle Mariners also had to be pushed back due to inclement weather. The teams will make up that game on May 14 at 6:10 p.m.

A winter storm warning is in effect for Minneapolis until 7 p.m. local time Sunday night, with up to 15 inches of snow expected in the area, according to The Weather Channel.

The Twins now head to San Juan, Puerto Rico for a two-game series against the Cleveland Indians.

The White Sox head to Oakland for three games against the A's, starting Monday night.
