Philippe Senderos' deadline day move from Fulham to Valencia came as a surprise — namely because no one really knew why the Spanish club would want the underwhelming Swiss defender. Well, the answer to that question might have came in the form of a tweet from Valencia's official account announcing the arrival of Senderos and Vinicius Araujo from Cruzeiro.
That's Araujo pictured on the left, but that's not Senderos on the right. Instead, it's his Fulham teammate Brede Hangeland. If they signed Senderos thinking he was Hangeland, this will only end in tears (of sadness for Valencia and laughter for everyone else).
It took a little while, but they finally did delete the tweet.
