Leo Messi and Kobe Bryant have a ‘Selfie Shootout’

Almost exactly a year after we saw them furiously competing to win the affection of a small child wondering around a plane unattended, Leo Messi and Kobe Bryant are back with another hilarious feud.

This time, the Barcelona and LA Lakers stars have a "Selfie Shootout," in which they take as many flights as possible in order to snap their own picture in a plethora of exotic and exciting locations — ones that you could experience through the majesty of Turkish Airlines.

It's a fun commercial, but poorly timed for Messi. The Spanish press are among those claiming that the Argentinean's current injury problems might be the result of excess air travel. During the summer, the Atomic Flea travelled a little under 76,000 miles in a 64-day period, which is enough to circle the earth three times. Around 56,000 of those miles were not for club-related duties, but were commercial obligations and his mildly controversial "Messi and Friends" tour. In light of this, throwing him in a commercial where he pretends to circumnavigate the globe just to make Kobe look like a chump seems odd.

Here's the original Turkish Airlines commercial they starred in together:
