    Swimmers talk to the BBC before NBC (PHOTO)

    Here's Michael Phelps standing up NBC's Andrea Kremer to first do a brief interview with the BBC after winning his third gold medal of the London Olympics. Phelps did a stand-up with NBC following his short interview with the British television network.

    NBC had first dibs on interviews with American swimmers earlier in the competition but apparently gave up the honor to the Brits. The Beeb thanked its stateside television counterpart for the gesture, explaining, "they're not recording live, you know."

    Oh, we know, BBC. We know.
