Five things to know about today's Olympic games ...

1. Barkov done for the Finns. After suffering a knee injury, Aleksander Barkov was ruled out for the rest of the tournament.

2. No. 1 overall seed on the line. The winner of Canada/Finland will determine the top seed as we enter the elimination round. Meanwhile, the U.S. can earn a bye into the quarterfinal with a win over Slovenia.

3. Slovenian hockey to get a boost. Slovenia has only 148 registered male players and seven indoor rinks. Participating in the 2014 Games will certainly help grow the number of players in the country.

4. Crazy times in Group A. If Slovenia should upset the U.S. and Russia loses to Slovakia, then Slovenia will win the group. Yup. Crazy times.

5. Alex Radulov will likely be watching. After his two penalties resulted in two U.S. goals, Russia head coach Zinetula Bilyaletinov, through an interpreter, said "We expected more out of him. He was not really living up to his expectation today. Scratched? Yeah, he needs to be scratched, among other things."

Bold prediction: Norway upends Austria 3-1 and Finland trips up Canada 4-3.
