Video: Bowling Green SID allows himself to be sacked by Falcons defensive tackle

One of the better annual football traditions is Rich Eisen running the 40 at the NFL Combine. He is, obviously, considerably slower than the top-flight NFL prospects in attendance, but he accepts the jokes and ribbing because it helps show just how freaking good the top athletes are compared to use average Joes.

Credit to Bowling Green football SID Dave Meyer for stepping up and giving another demonstration on just how powerful the guys we watch every Saturday truly are. To kick off the 2013 season, Meyer suited up in full pads, grabbed a football and let Falcon defensive tackle Ted Oullet just destroy him. It looks really painful, especially in slow motion.

Oullet is 6’3”, 282 pounds. Meyer is…well…smaller than that, but he handles it admirably, asking “Is Ted okay?” after being leveled by the third team All-MAC performer.

“You took it like a champ,” complimented Oullet after a post-annihilation hug.
