Report: Louisville and AAC reach agreement allowing UL to join ACC
It has been almost a year since the ACC voted to add Louisville to the conference for the 2014 season, and today, the school finally reached an agreement with its current conference, the American Athletic Conference, to do so.
According to ESPN.com’s Brett McMurphy, the agreement includes Louisville paying $11 million to the AAC.

Louisville was voted in to the ACC to replace Maryland, which will join the Big Ten along with Rutgers in 2014. Rutgers, like Louisville, still has to reach its own agreement with the AAC.
If AAC allows Rutgers to leave B1G for less than $11M, Louisville would receive that difference from $11M
